Intech’s Approach to Corporate Social Responsibility

At IDBI Intech, we firmly believe that Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is the coherent allegiance for the betterment of the community and society at large. We created a vision that encompasses the essence of our social responsibility towards the less fortunate. It is inherent in our core values of giving back to society.

In pursuit of our vision to infuse good corporate citizenship, we engage in strategic philanthropic programs to improve the quality of life of the under-served, disadvantaged, and marginalized communities. We are proud of our long-standing commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) which is built on a solid structure of overall growth and value creation for every stakeholder, including the society in which we are growing.

We have designed our CSR initiatives in such a way that it enables excitable involvement and collaboration from our team. Our approach is holistic and addresses the well-being of all stakeholders from a social, environmental and ethical perceptive.

HUNGER, POVERTY, MALNUTRITION AND HEALTH

Eradicating hunger, promoting preventive healthcare and sanitation and making available safe drinking water. Providing health related equipment to institutions in need.

EDUCATION

Promoting education, including special education and employment-enhancing vocational skills. This also includes skilling and reskilling initiatives for those who are in need.

RURAL DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS

Strengthening rural areas by improving accessibility, drinking water, sanitation, medical equipment, etc. thereby creating sustainable villages.

Recognitions

FY 2024-25

A significant contribution was made to Lions Hospital, Koparkhairane, with the donation of two Fresenius Hemodialysis Machines and one Briovent Ventilator. This support strengthens the hospital’s dialysis and ICU facilities, enabling them to continue providing affordable and free dialysis services to underprivileged patients and deliver essential critical care to those in need.

Supporting pediatric heart care, IDBI Intech donated Respiratory Humidifiers, Ventilator Circuits, and Syringe Pumps to Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital, Kharghar. The hospital treats children with congenital heart diseases completely free of cost, and this contribution strengthens their ICU and OT infrastructure for life-saving procedures.

IDBI Intech extended support to Swami Brahmanand Pratishthan, an institution empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities. The company provided essential equipment including a Treadmill, Refrigerator, Washing Machine, Music System, Printer, and Laptop to enhance their vocational training and rehabilitation programs.

FY 2023-24

A significant contributed towards the revamp of the E-Learning Room at Shri Annasaheb Sahastrabuddhe Adivasi Madhyamik Ashramshala, Wakdi, New Panvel, by providing laptops, desktops, projector, furniture, and related infrastructure.

Support was extended to Jeevan Jyoti Aashalay, Nerul, through the donation of essential equipment including a printer, cupboards, refrigerator, and bicycles, enhancing the living and learning environment for orphaned children.

IDBI Intech partnered with IIT Bombay, Powai, to fund the R&D project ‘Shabdamitra,’ an innovative digital platform designed to enhance language learning and effective communication.

A significant contribution was made to Tata Memorial Centre (ACTREC), Kharghar, through the provision of advanced medical equipment for Dental Oncology and Pathology, strengthening its cancer care facilities for underprivileged patients.

FY 2022-23

Our donation of computer and library infrastructure to Stree Mukti Sanghatana, Kopar Khairane, has been acknowledged.

A significant contribution has been made by IDBI Intech towards the acquisition of a new Fabian High Frequency Oscillatory Ventilator (HFOV) for Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital in Kharghar.

We have been recognized for our contribution in covering the expenses of students at Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, including fees, transportation, uniforms, books, stationery, hostel accommodation, and mess charges.

FY 2021-22

We are recognized for our valuable contribution at Brand Honchos' Indian CSR Awards 2022 under the category of the 'Most Impactful Public Health Programme Initiative of the Year - 2022 (Corporate)'

We are recognized for our valuable contribution of 12 laptops and printers to students from underprivileged background to become computer literate before they leave school.

We are appreciated for our contribution at parijatha Care Centre for the Aged.

We are appreciated for our contribution at Shirvane Vidyalaya and Junior College, Nerul.
